Omlab’s Restroom Number Two in The Exploded View Beyond Building. Composed of 24 building blocks, made from Omlab’s supercircular Buildmatterial. The wall can be seen until October 2023 23 in Kamp C, Westerlo in Belgium.
Kamp C is the center for sustainability and innovation in construction.
The free standing curved wall consists of 24 3D-printed modules with functions such as ventilation, construction and a built-in toilet roll holder. The modules are a follow-up to Number One (scale 1:4, October 2021). In one year, Omlab managed to quadruple the scale to 1:1.
Previously, The Exploded View including Omlab’s modules was at the Floriade World Expo (April 14, 2022 to October 9, 2022) and the Dutch Design Week (October 16 to 24, 2021).
